The company has undertaken a comprehensive programme of capital investment, an initial phase of which was the creation of a new foundry, fully commissioned in late 2005 /early 2006, incorporating the latest rotary furnace melting technology with state of the art casting and environmental control installations, placing it at the forefront of the European Aluminium Recycling industry.
The recently completed foundry development allows the flexibility to offer a toll conversion service to re-process your own scrap arisings either into sows or ingots. The technology associated with our new melting facilities, with precision controls and performance indicators, enables us to provide a detailed out-turn report for each conversion melt.
The latest phase of BAT investment includes an additional furnace operating to the highest industry standards of energy efficiencies and process control whilst maintaining the most stringent quality and HSE standards. With this continuous investment programme in BAT Mil-Ver is confident in its ability to optimize metal recoveries and energy efficiencies thus maximizing the value of the return on your scrap arisings.
